I am a sophomore at Seattle Pacific University majoring in Exercise Science and minoring in Psychology. I enjoy going on adventures with my friends, spending time with family, sports, and baking! I decided to go on a SPRINT trip because I wanted to experience a new culture by immersion and I want to serve God in a more tangible way. I am overjoyed at the opportunity to be apart of this amazing adventure!

I am a freshman at SPU. I am studying elementary education. I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, reading and playing with kids. I decided to do SPRINT because I wanted to strengthen my faith and develop my teaching skills. I am very excited for all the opportunities that will come my way during the SPRINT experience.

Trip Description

SPRINT engages Seattle Pacific University students in short-term summer international missions and service trips in partnership with local community leaders around the globe. SPRINT’s pre-trip training and post-trip debriefing processes emphasize the importance of understanding culture, partnering alongside development instead of perpetuating colonialism, and the value of a life-long integration of faith, learning and service.

This summer SPRINT will send teams to 8 countries around the world. Learn more at www.spu.edu/sprint.

In Vietnam students will participate in after-school programs and summer camp activities focused on English language skills and character-building for children and youth in Danang, Vietnam. Learn more about our partner, Fisher’s SuperKids English Center, at www.fishersuperkids.com.
